Silverstrand Developments successfully tendered for the construction of the ground floor slab, with an area of 1556m2, and carpentry works which involved erecting timber-frame structure to the Maclean Sports Centre. Lahey Constructions outlined a completion date of September 2010 and Silverstrand completed all items in the scope of works in August 2010.

Scope of Works:	Civil Package: Set out and excavate footings for slab Slab consists of 100mm deep ground slab with an area of 1556m2 Fix Reinforcement to all footings & pads & Installation of hold down bolts Mesh & fit metal key joints for expansion joints Place & Finish Concrete to a steel trowel finish as specified Construction Package: Erection of pre-manufactured timber-frame panels Erection of pre-manufactured timber-frame trusses Installation of I-Beam flooring joists Sheet flooring to joists Hanging internal doors, fixing skirting & architrave
