Boardwalk Construction, Ermington

Silverstrand were engaged to carry out the installation of a boardwalk which was pre-fabricated off site by Steelworks Engineering. Silverstrand supervised the installation of the screw piles to which the boardwalk was attached. This project proved challenging due to the protected vegetation in the area as no plant could travel on the existing ground. This was overcome by installing the screw piles from the already installed sections of the boardwalk. The works were carried out on the banks of the Parramatta River.
