Coal Seam Gas WTPP, Dalby

Water, which is a by-product of a nearby mining plant, is currently piped to an evaporation pond in the Dalby area. The high quantity of minerals in the water is causing environmental issues in the locality of the evaporation pond. This plant is a pilot plant to investigate the possibility of treating the water en route to the evaporation pond using Higgins Loop Technology. This is the first plant of its kind in Australia.
