Silverstrand Developments carry out contract construction works fulfilling the role of principal contractor on numerous projects. Silverstrand were involved in the Building the Education Revolution (BER) programme in 2010-2011, carryout out concrete works, framing works and roofing works. Silverstrand have assisted in the design of the buildings we have been involved in, displaying innovation and cost saving techniques throughout the projects.
BER Projects, Central Queensland
Silverstrand Developments operate a flexible and experienced team of carpenters who worked between 3 BER school sites in the central Queensland area for our client Gardner Brothers. This arrangement enabled our client to use an experienced team to move between sites to eliminate down time.
Wherret Park Sports Centre, Maclean
Silverstrand were heavily involved in the construction of the Wherret Park Sports Centre in Maclean, carrying out works to the ground slabs, wall framing and roofing.
Boardwalk Upgrade, Berowra Waters
Silverstrand were engaged to construct the state of the art boardwalk and upgrade the existing road in Berowra Waters.
Juvenile Detention Centre, Grafton
Silverstrand’s scope of works on this project involved the installation of metal stud partitions, battens for colorbond roof sheeting and installation of fascia and soffit.
Boardwalk Construction, Ermington
Silverstrand were engaged by Steelworks Engineering to carry out the installation of an aluminium boardwalk with fibre re-enforced plastic decking in an environmentally sensitive area in the vicinity of the Parramatta River.
