Spillways, Culverts + Rip Rap Burton Coal Mine
Silverstrand were awarded the contract to carry out
various civil works in Burton Coal Mine, Moranbah, QLD
for Thiess Mining.
750kl Water Storage Reservoir, Woorabinda
Silverstrand Developments secured the contract as the Principal Contractor for construction of a concrete water storage reservoir for the Department of Local Government and Planning
Runner A and Barbers Creek Regulators, Barham
Silverstrand Developments were appointed by Fulton Hogan to carry out construction of two large concrete structures; this was part of the $60m Koondrook to Perricoota Forest Flood Enhancement Works Project.
Living Wall Revetment, Chinderah
This was Silverstrand’s first project for the Tweed Shire Council. It involved the excavation of the existing bank and installation of rows of 300 diameter “living wall”. This wall was designed to protect the river bank from erosion.
Seawall Culvert & Rock Armour Works, Gladstone
Silverstrand Developments were engaged by Abigroup to carry out the installation of a 10 cell 1.8m diameter RCP culvert in Regional Queensland. This project proved challenging as there was a tight programme and the site was subject to tidal ground conditions..
Coal Seam Gas WTPP, Dalby
Silverstrand were engaged by Leighton Contractors to carry out the civil works to the Coal Seam Gas Water Treatment Pilot Plant in the rural area of Dalby in Queensland.
Car Park Civil Works, Browns Plains
Silverstrand Developments completed a large civil project for Ernst and Young at St Jude’s Court, Browns Plains, Queensland. This involved the construction of a 500m2 crib-lock retaining wall and a 2,500m2 car park to furnish an existing 41 unit development.
Boardwalk Upgrade, Berowra Waters
Silverstrand were engaged to construct the state of the art boardwalk and upgrade the existing road in Berowra Waters.
Boardwalk Construction, Ermington
Silverstrand were engaged by Steelworks Engineering to carry out the installation of an aluminium boardwalk with fibre re-enforced plastic decking in an environmentally sensitive area in the vicinity of the Parramatta River.
Feeder Stations, Bollingbroke
Silverstrand were engaged to carry out upgrade of substation including electrical ducting installation of various sizes.
Erection of Tilt-Up Panels, Woodlands to Veales Rd.
Silverstrand were engaged to excavate and place concrete to footings of tilt up panels and subsequent erection of tilt up panels on the Woodlands to Veales Road project.
Road Repair & Culvert Reconstruction, O’Connors Rd.
Silverstrand were engaged to create a service and maintenance access road 10.8km in length for Queensland Rail.
